I have a Miniature Doberman Pincsher and he has a barking problem. Help?

My family and I always sit down every night and watch TV together. My dog usually sleeps by my feet. If someone just talks the dog gets up and starts barking like crazy. This happens if someone moves or cracks their knuckles also. he just won’t stop barking. But this is only a problem at night.

whenever he barks say good bark and reward him
once he knows how to bark on command teach him stop barking when you say stop
when you say stop and he stops barking reward him and praise him
