Chihuahua barking is getting really annoying?

Do not get me wrong I LOVE MY BABY! is getting very bad with their barking, however. I have a natural spray every scrape the neck. lets out a pleasant all-natural lemon scent when he barks, but I misplaced it and I can not afford another. barks everything. barks when I get out of bed, and cat, and any little noise that does not like. please do not suggest a bark collar that zaps. I would never use a of those you !!!!! but can you tell me what you did to stop their excessive barking dog. would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
